Peg City Car Co-op is holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, April 10th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Centennial Concert Hall. The AGM is a chance for Peg City members to get an annual report from our CEO, meet the Peg City Board and Staff, ask questions, and vote on any special resolutions.

Our Annual General Meeting is on Thursday, April 10th.

Peg City members, investors, and community partners can attend in person and online. We’ll gather in the Sound Bites Room on the lower level of the Manitoba Centennial Concert Hall (turn left and take the stairs down from the front vestibule). If you’d prefer to attend online, we’ll send you a link to log on and listen. Virtual attendees may ask questions during the Q&A but will not be able to vote on special resolutions.

While all Peg City Car Co-op users are welcome to join, only shareholding members can vote or join the board.

Accessibility Notes

The Manitoba Concert Hall and Sound Bites Room are accessible by wheelchair. The elevator can be accessed from the Concert Hall’s front foyer. Washrooms are fully accessible and close to the meeting room. Auto-transcribed closed captions will be available via the virtual Zoom Webinar and projected in the physical AGM space.

Board Elections

Board elections will take place online from March 22nd until April 5th.

An elected board of eight directors governs Peg City Car Co-op. There are four seats up for election this year, with three incumbents seeking re-election and one vacant seat.

As a cooperative organization, Peg City believes that a board should reflect the diversity of our membership. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in finance law and/or business technology.

Without further ado, this year’s nominees are…
