Peg City provides a flexible transportation solution for business and non-profit organizations. We organize your team’s vehicle needs – from fuel to parking and everything in between. Make your office more sustainable by incentivizing your employees to bike, walk, or bus to work while using carsharing to deliver supplies or attend meetings. You can even offer access to carsharing as an employee perk!

Each driver receives a personal key fob and an online account that allows them to book a vehicle where they want when they want it. Once a booking is complete, our software calculates the time and distance, and you’ll see a complete breakdown of every trip.

Our Member Plus plan offers FIX price matching on FLO trips. Any FLO trip under four hours will be measured against the cost of a four-hour FIX booking (plus km). You’ll get the FIX rate on your FLO booking when FIX is cheaper. FLO bookings longer than four hours will be price-matched hour for hour with kilometres factored in. This means that 50km are not included when a FLO booking is price-matched to FIX, but you’re still getting the cheaper rate.

Ex. Driving 20 km over three hours with a FLO car, the charge is $31.50 for time and distance. Here, the FIX rate would be ($3.25 x 4hr) + (20×0.45) = $22. In this case, you’d get the FIX rate and pay $22 for your FLO booking.

The FIX/FLO price match is not included in our Member Manual and is subject to change at Peg City Car Co-op’s discretion.

FLO bookings of two hours or fewer benefit from a fuelling credit. If you use our fuel card to purchase at least $20 in gas, you’ll receive a time credit of up to 10 minutes. If your total booking is less than 10 minutes, the time credit will be equivalent to the total booking time. Expect a few business days’ delay before the credit appears on your account.

A credit of up to 10 minutes also applies to winter FLO bookings for snow clearing. Your billed trip time begins after 10 minutes or when you start driving, whichever comes first. If you unlock the doors and start driving after six minutes, you’ll get six minutes of credit. If you unlock the doors and start driving after 13 minutes, you’ll get 10 minutes of credit.

The snow-clearing credit applies to all FLO bookings, regardless of weather.

We clean our vehicles on a regular rotation, but hey, dirt happens! Members can earn driving credits by taking a Peg City vehicle through a wash during their booking. Ask us how!

The cost of fuel is always covered by Peg City. Pay at the pump using our Shell fuel card at any gas station in Canada.

If I close my account, can my additional drivers keep driving?

Your additional drivers must create their own account(s) to continue driving should you choose to close your account.

How do I add drivers to my account?

If you’re on a Member or Member Plus plan, you can invite up to four additional drivers to join you. Casual accounts are considered individual and are not eligible for additional drivers.

The invite can be sent right from your account. Account>Add and view drivers>Enter the email address of the person you wish to add.

Can I allow someone else to drive the car if I join Peg City?

Anyone who drives a Peg City vehicle must be a registered driver with the program. You’re welcome to share bookings with drivers on your account or even allow a friend or family member on a separate Peg City account to drive on your bookings. Please note that the member who made the booking is responsible for the car.

People who don’t hold a Peg City account may not drive our vehicles, even if you’re in the car with them.
