System Outage

We’re experiencing an outage event that may prevent you from accessing vehicles or ending your trip normally. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Our development team is aware of the disruption and is working hard to resolve it. In the meantime, here are some helpful tips.

FIX VEHICLES (ROUND-TRIP BOOKINGS)

If you reserved a FIX ahead and can’t start your trip with the app, try using your Peg City fob on the reader to unlock the doors. Fob readers can be found on the front windshield on the driver’s side.

Watch for the lights on the reader when fobbing in. Noticing an alternating red and green light? That’s the system trying to communicate with the reader. Allow the cycle to complete without re-fobbing.

After a minute has passed, if you’re at the right car during a valid booking, the doors should open.

FLO CARS (FREE-FLOATING CARSHARING)

The FLO car may not be in the spot indicated by the map. You may have trouble using the app to begin a trip with a FLO.

If you find an available FLO car (indicated by a flashing green light on the reader), you can try fobbing.

  1. Pass your fob over the reader on the driver’s side windshield.
  2. Pay attention to the lights on the reader. If you notice an alternating red and green light, that’s the system trying to communicate with the reader.
  3. Keep your fob away from the reader while the communication cycle is in progress. It may take a minute or so to complete.
  4. After a minute has passed, if the car’s available, the doors should open.

For some outages, you may notice that no FLO cars are viewable in the app. Our development team does this when outages make it difficult to use FLO.

ENDING A TRIP

If you’re having trouble ending a FIX or FLO booking with your Peg City app:

  1. Power down the engine
  2. Return all keys and cards to the holder in the glove compartment (all lights should be glowing white)
  3. Use the fob to secure the vehicle
  4. If the vehicle fails to lock, please call.
